Portuguese Consortium of Obstetric Data

The Portuguese Consortium of Obstetric Data is formed by the “Departments of Obstetrics” or “Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology” of portuguese hospitals using the electronic patient record program “ObsCare”.

Its main objectives are:  

  1. To disseminate to the public the main obstetric indicators related to the joint activities of its members. 
  2. To inform regularly its partners (The Portuguese Society of Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Division of Sexual, Reproductive, Infant and Juvenile Health of the Portuguese Directory of Health ) of a larger list of obstetric indicators related to the joint activities of its members  This list may also be facilitated to other national or international regulatory or scientific institutions, when requested. 
  3. To promote national multicenter research, by providing access to its members of collective anonymised clinical databases (after necessary clearance from Research Ethics Committees).
